Clear Administrative Credential Program (CACP)
Our program is approved by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing as a Professional Preparation Program for the Clear Administrative Services Credential. In partnership with the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA), we provide a high-quality, two-year induction program for beginning administrators. Credential candidates expand and deepen their leadership knowledge, skills, and behaviors through individualized, job-embedded induction. Upon completion of the two-year program, candidates will be recommended for the Clear Administrative Services Credential.
Two-Year Program highlights include:
- One-on-one coaching by an experienced administrator and certified leadership coach. (40 hours per year)
- Engaging in self-selected professional learning guided by the candidate's work setting and individualized goals. (20 hours per year)
- Using reflective practices to develop leadership knowledge and skills in relation to the California Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (CPSELs).
- Completing a portfolio based on an Individual Induction Plan, including goals, actions, and outcomes.
Who Should Participate?
Any administrator who holds a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential and is currently employed in an administrative position is eligible.
How do you enroll?
There are two enrollment windows and cohorts each year.
- Fall Window: The fall enrollment window is April 1 - August 1 (EXTENDED TO SEPTEMBER 15th FOR 24-25)
- Winter Window: The winter enrollment window is September 1 - December 15
What are the program fees?
There are two sets of annual fees associated with the program - a program fee and a leadership program coaching fee.
- A $1,000 annual ACSA Program Fee is paid directly to ACSA ($2,000 total).
- A $4,000 annual Leadership Program Coaching Fee is paid directly to CCCOE-ALP via check or credit card ($8,000 total).
The total cost of the two year program is $10,000. Check with your district regarding reimbursement options.
