The General Education Development (GED) Test is a computer-based test that consists of four subtests, which may be taken separately or all on the same day. The test contains multiple choice, short answer, and essay questions. The four test modules are Reasoning through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies.
