HOW TO GET A COPY OF YOUR GED SCORES
Step 1: Go to: https://ged.com/life_after_ged (use either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox)
Step 2: Request Your Transcript
- Select Region (Country) / Select Area (State)
- If you tested prior to 1990, please check the list of California test sites HERE. If the site where you took the test is not listed, GED does not have your record. Therefore, you must contact the testing center where you took the test to receive your GED documents.
Step 3: You are brought to the Credential Requesting Service page. Please follow the prompts on the page for Logging In, Selecting Documents, Order Details, Provide Consent, Payment and Review Order for submission.
Copies of GED Documents are $15.00. If you have questions about your GED documents or would like to speak to someone regarding them, please call GED at: 1-877-EXAM-GED (877-392-6433). For online orders you can email GED at: [email protected]. GED is available Monday-Friday 7a-7p CT (closed for Holiday’s).

HOW TO GET A COPY OF YOUR HiSET SCORES
If you passed the HiSET exam after January 1st 2018, your HiSET credentials will be automatically emailed to you at the email address used to create your ETS-HiSET account for exam registration. Beginning September 1, 2019, all California HiSET test passers will receive a printed copy of their official certificate and transcript automatically shipped to their address on file. If you need additional copies of your certificate, follow the directions in the email you received and log in under the Existing User Account tab.
