With COVID-19 shutting down schools since March, 32 ROP Careers with Children students began the 2020-2021 school year zooming into elementary schools.
32 Freedom HS students have been dropping by preschool thru 5th grade classes in Oakley. The ROP students spend one day a week with their elementary class, observing the teaching while helping with roll, reading stories, leading brain breaks and more. The students are getting hands-on experience with developing distance learning lessons and supporting classroom teachers.
