The Contra Costa County Foster Youth Executive Advisory (FYEA) Council works in partnership with FYSCP to advise and assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of the FYSCP plan and activities that have an impact on the children and youth in foster care in the county. The FYEA Council will discuss the plan to improve educational outcomes of foster children and youth by advising and providing input.
The goals of the FYEA Council are to:
- Increase educational outcomes of foster youth through innovative planning and programs.
- Increase collaboration and communication among foster youth serving agencies.
- Increase community knowledge about the issues that children and youth in foster care experience.
