Code dot org regional partner logoThe Contra Costa County Office of Education, in partnership with Code.org, is excited to offer several programs. Our goal is to increase access to Computer Science for all students.

Our vision is for every student in every school to have the opportunity to learn CS. By increasing access to computer science, especially for women and underrepresented minorities, our children will be prepared for any career, opening doors for their future success.

To realize this vision, CCCOE provides workshops, programs, and resources for implementation of CS programs in grades K-12. For information about CCCOE's CS Initiatives, please contact Hilary Dito at hdito@cccoe.k12.ca.us

Our services include:

  • Providing professional learning, programs, and resources for implementation of Code.org CS programs in grades K-12. Programs include:
  • CS Fundamentals workshops for K-5th grade classrooms
  • CS Discoveries Cohort programs for 6-10th grade classes
  • CS Principles Cohort programs for 10-12th grade classes
  • Implementation workshops for administrators
  • Developing a network of CS educators
