Heritage HS Robotics Team Wins Control Award

The Heritage High School FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics team participated remotely with 15 other teams in Northern California in the FIRST Tech Challenge Daly City qualifier event on Saturday January 22. The Heritage team comprised of 15 students won the Control Award at the event.  Here's a description of the award.

Mastering robot intelligence.
The Control Award celebrates a team that uses sensors and software to increase the robot’s functionality in the field. This award is given to the team that demonstrates innovative thinking to solve game challenges such as autonomous operation, improving mechanical systems with intelligent control, or using sensors to achieve better results.

Congratulate our programming students Adeel Ahmed and Anthony Rubick for their hard work in helping our team win this award. The team, under the guidance of Teacher and FIRST FTC Robotics Coach, Robert Pardi will now move to the next FIRST Tech Challenge on February 12 in Folsom, CA.
