Educational Technology

Purpose statement:

Support and inspire districts in making thoughtful, effective technology decisions that enhance teaching, learning, and leadership. We help educators and leaders navigate an evolving technology landscape, evaluate emerging tools and technologies, and promote instructional best practices, digital citizenship, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence. Guided by the principle that technology should serve instructional goals, not drive them, we encourage the purposeful integration of technology while recognizing that the best choice for learning is not always a digital one.

Areas of focus

We support our districts and charter schools through leadership, collaboration, professional learning, and practical resources in the following areas:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Emerging Technologies in Education

Exploration of new technologies, trends, and innovations impacting education and district decision-making. Support for responsible implementation of AI, AI literacy, policy development, tool evaluation, professional learning, and instructional applications.
