CCCOE assists districts and schools in increasing  student achievement and school performance through technical assistance, capacity-building, data analysis, and meeting state and federal accountability requirements.We are committed to assisting our school districts in the preparation for and use of state assessments (i.e., CAASPP, ELPAC), and providing updates on state and federal accountability systems.

Our services include:
 
  • Providing timely information about the CA School Dashboard and its metrics
  • Providing support related to standards, assessment and accountability through bimonthly meetings of the Contra Costa Assessment and Accountability Network and the San Francisco Bay Region Assessment and Accountability Network
  • Facilitating cross district sharing of assessment administration and planning practices

Give district administrators who are responsible for assessment, accountability, data management, and/or program evaluation timely updates on topics of interest and importance to their work; and 
 
Provide a forum for participants to explore and exchange promising practices that can inform instruction and assessment, accelerate student learning, and close achievement gaps
