The Young Children’s Issues Forum is hosted by the Contra Costa Local Planning Council (LPC) and coordinated by the Contra Costa County Office of Education.

 

25th Annual Young Children's Issues Forum: Supporting Young Children and Families – What Comes Next? Join us for the 25th Annual Young Children's Issues Forum, featuring a legislative panel and community voices exploring solutions for children, families, and early educators in Contra Costa County. Topics include: Childcare affordability Access to quality early learning A strong, supported early education workforce Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026 Time: 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Location: Pleasant Hill Senior Center 233 Gregory Road Pleasant Hill, CA 94523 Panel Moderator: Julie Nicholson This is a FREE event.
