These programs offer free or low-cost workshops, classes, and coaching for parents and caregivers in Contra Costa County. Topics include positive discipline, early childhood development, trauma-informed care, special needs parenting, and co-parenting. 
Triple P and Nurturing Parenting Classes
 
Provides evidence-based classes for parents facing high stress or CPS involvement, including the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P), Nurturing Parent, and trauma-informing parenting. 
Parent Education, Anger Management, & Co-Parenting Support
 
A leading nonprofit offering evidence-based parenting workshops, including Triple P, parenting teens, anger management, and reunification support for families involved in family court. Available in English and Spanish
Support for Parents of Children with Disabilities or Special Needs
 
Support groups, workshops and coaching on navigating IEPs, regional center services, and disability rights. Offers support groups and advocacy training for families raising children with physical, emotional, or developmental needs.
Healing-Centered Parenting Programs
 
Provided trauma-informed parenting support, including resiliency-focued classes for survivors of family violence or trauma. 
Parenting Education with Mental Health Support
 
Offers parenting classes and support groups integrated with behavioral health services. Culturally responsive and bilingual programs available. 
Supportive Spaces for Navigating Behavioral, Emotional, and School-Related Challenges
 
Provides healing-centered support groups for caregivers, with a focus on mental health, school stressors, and trauma recovery. Bilingual and culturally responsive.
