No one supports LGBTQ+ students alone. These trusted partners offer essential health services, emotional support, family advocacy, and community-building programs to help young people feel safe, seen, and supported - both inside and outside of school. Whether you're a student, parent, educator, or ally, these organizations are here to help. 
Comprehensive, affirming health care for transgender, nonbinary, and gender-diverse youth.
 
The Gender Clinic provides gender-affirming medical care and support services for youth and their families in a respectful, inclusive environment. Services include mental health support and referrals. 
Youth-led programs and school-based support circles for LGBTQ+ identity, leadership, and equity. 
 
Center of Human Development partners with schools to create safe spaces and peer-led programs that uplift LGBTQ+ youth. They offer identify-affirming support circles, leadership development opportunities, and community-building events designed to empower students and foster allyship on campus.

PFLAG is a national organization with local Contra Costa chapters providing monthly support groups for parents, families, LGBTQ+ youth, and allies. They help families navigate coming out, offer connection resources, and advocate for safer, more inclusive schools.

Rainbow Center is a cornerstone for LGBTQ+ support in Contra Costa County. They offer youth groups, free counseling, family workshops, housing assistance, and school outreach services. Rainbow's programs offer a sense of community while providing life-saving mental health and wellness support.

Gender Spectrum provides online support groups, toolkits, and resources for transgender and gender-expansive youth and their caregivers. Their programs help families and school staff develop the understanding and skills to affirm all students' identities.

The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBTQ+ Youth. It offers the TrevorSpace, a global peer-support platform for LGBTQ+ youth ages 13-24, and advocacy resources for adults supporting young people.
