The Model United Nations is an exciting, educational way for high school students to learn about global issues. The Model U.N. simulates the activities of a U.N. body such as the Security Council or the General Assembly. Students assume the roles of diplomatic representatives to the U.N., as they consider contemporary international concerns
The Mock Trial Program is sponsored by the Constitutional Rights Foundation (CRF). Each year CRF creates a mock trial that addresses serious matters facing young people today. The 2018 Mock Trial will be held in Martinez courtrooms on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in February.
National History Day is a national program, with state and regional (county-level) competitions, in which students prepare projects - posters, exhibits, papers, websites, dramatic performances and documentary films - on a historical theme.
The Contra Costa County Office of Education is a proud sponsor of the Intel-Affiliated Contra Costa County Science & Engineering Fair.

The Contra Costa County Office of Education gratefully acknowledges GJEL Accident Attorneys for their generous support of the CCCOE Academic Events
