Livescan Services are currently available at the
 Contra Costa County Office of Education

The Contra Costa County Office of Education is proud to offer Live Scan fingerprinting services to all agencies. Fingerprinting is performed on a Live Scan machine by our friendly and trained professional technicians. We offer both Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI background checks.

Live Scan is conducted at the County Office of Education, located at 77 Santa Barbara Road in Pleasant Hill. 

  • The number to call for an appointment is (925) 942-5312. We cannot accommodate walk-ins.

  • Our rolling fee is $25, payable in the form of credit card, debit card, or cash (no checks). We do not accept American Express.

Special Instructions: The County Office of Education is following all health guidelines related to COVID-19. Please wear a mask when entering the building and during your entire fingerprinting apt. and if you have any symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, etc.), please reschedule your appointment. This is for the safety of all CCCOE employees, you and the Livescan administrator.

**Upon entering the building, you will be asked to complete a quick questionnaire. This questionnaire is to allow the County Office of Education to contact you should we be notified that there was a COVID-19 case in our building on the day and time you were present. **

Applicants need to bring the following to their appointment:

  1. Live Scan form (one copy) with the applicant section filled out prior to appointment

  2. Valid Photo ID: Current Driver's License, Identification Card, Passport, Alien Registration Card/Immigration/Green Card or Military Card

  3. Payment (we do not accept American Express or personal checks)
